Rilo Kiley @ The Greek
Last night I caught Rilo Kiley @ The Greek, my third time seeing them live, and it felt like the band was finally maturing into a proper headlining act. The band was musically tight and Jenny’s vocals were sweet and spot on (and thank you for not making that face during “Portions for Foxes” because it always ruined that song for me).
Also, this was the first time I’d been to The Greek. What an awesome venue. I’m looking forward to seeing more shows here. I’m eyeing gigs by My Morning Jacket, The Swell Season w/ Iron & Wine, Cafe Tacuva and Robert Plant & Alison Krauss.
Lastly, my apologies for not blogging more. I’ve purchased a bunch of music (I just discoverd the Amazon MP3 store) but I’ve been buried under a new project. Go to my film blog for details.
